MAXMAT SA designs and manufacturers diagnostic instrumentation and announces its MAXMAT PL II — a multidisciplinary analyzer for testing in clinical chemistry, coagulation and immunochemistry/ELISA.

It is the ideal tool for scientific research providing total flexibility for creating unlimited complex assay protocols in clinical chemistry and coagulation, and in quantitative and qualitative ELISA. It includes microplate or strips reaction support and a flexible spectrophotometer optical system (340-700 nm). With real-time reaction curves
and handling linear and non-linear calibrations, the MAXMAT PL II also boasts quality control allowing graphical representation of performance and automatic statistics calculation.

The MAXMAT PL COAG is dedicated to haemostasis analyses for chronometric, chromogenic and turbidimetric tests. It has one of the lowest cost per coagulation test available; with its very low reagent consumption and use of low-cost microtiter plates as reaction support.

MAXMAT also offers a complete range of clinical chemistry and coagulation reagents.

R&D services: MAXMAT offers solutions from conception to final product of medical systems under contract for other companies.

In 2006 the company undertook its first OED contract for the development of a unique instrument for the preparation of cryogenically stocked biological samples, which is being installed throughput all of the French Blood Bank network. Since then several other R&D contracts have been successfully undertaken.

MAXMAT SA is currently seeking new partners for the scientific market who specialize in the sale and after-sales servicing and support of biomedical instruments and reagents. It is also looking to undertake R&D projects in the medical domain on behalf of other companies.

The company will be exhibiting at PITTCON 2010 from March 1 to 4 in Orlando, Fla., on the French Pavilion at booth 3408.
