Ceramics China: key provider to a changing market

Local manufacturers growing but top quality products still depend on know-how to make a difference. Boost given to the sanitaryware sector with robotized glazing for “one-piece” WCs

The place: Guangzhou, the biggest coastal city in southern China. The dates: from 18th to 21st May. The event: the 24th edition of Ceramics China, the biggest fair dedicated to the ceramic industry in the entire country and an event that will be attended by the industry’s major international players.

Second only to Tecnargilla, Ceramics China is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for Sacmi. At stand C102 (Hall 3.1 – International), in a display area of more than 320 m2, Sacmi will be presenting its latest products to be launched on the market, with particular emphasis on the innovative range of presses and new solutions for firing, drying, grinding and packaging for the ceramic tile business.
A new boost is given also to the sanitaryware sector: Sacmi will launch its proposal for robotized glazing for “one-piece” WCs (China is one of the leading manufacturers in the world of this kind of WC). The GA2000 robot – which visitors will be able to see on show and in operation to simulate the glazing process – allows manufacturers to optimize the application of  glaze thus improving the quality standard of the final product.

These innovations are introduced against the backdrop of a market which, following the uncertainties arising from the difficult international economic situation, appears to be showing some signs of an upturn in progress.

In this atmosphere of competitiveness Sacmi aims, on the one hand, to provide quality, reliability, energy savings, optimisation of process resources and consequent cost reduction, and, on the other hand, to complete, from a production viewpoint, its own facilities in China.
In fact, thanks to its large Nanhai plant, Sacmi is now able to offer Chinese customers a wider dedicated product range as well as an outstanding, fast-responding assistance and spare parts service.
